Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Overnight Oats are worth considering if you like peanut butter and want prepared oats with a texture recommendation behind them. Our editor marked them “love” on August 28 and wrote: “Pretty solid, texture was really good for overnight oats.” Texture is the strongest specific evidence in that note.
What is in the container?
The current official ingredient list, SKU 077544, contains six entries: water, rolled oats, dates, peanut butter, partially defatted peanut flour and salt. The product is prepared overnight oats, so this is a buying review rather than a copycat recipe.
The package is 156 grams, or 5.5 ounces, with one container listed as one serving. Trader Joe’s online record lists $1.99 as of September 8, 2026. Check your store’s price before treating that as the checkout amount.
What does the texture note tell us?
It tells us this editor liked the experience of eating these oats. It does not include a description of thickness, a comparison with homemade oats or an assessment of every overnight-oat flavor. The note is still useful if texture is what usually makes you hesitate about prepared oats.
The product ranks 13th of 17 items in the editor’s meals category, with four recorded comparisons involving it, checked September 8. That category includes other kinds of meals. The position is not a ranking of 17 overnight-oat products or a reason to ignore the positive texture note.
Do I need to prepare or refrigerate them?
The retailer presents them as a prepared option to eat on their own, and the inspected package says to keep refrigerated. Follow the current package for storage. This review does not prescribe a heating method or claim an unrefrigerated shelf life.
Will one container be enough for breakfast?
The label calls one container a serving. The editor’s note does not describe fullness, so we cannot turn that label into a personal portion verdict. If you try them, record whether you wanted another part of breakfast alongside the oats.
